What to Expect
Expect hands-on fun, creative freedom and a mix of a guided activity and open art play.
This is a space where kids can explore, experiment and get wonderfully messy while making art their own way.

Art Club Schedule
Every Oggie Art Club session is a little different! Here's a rough idea of what to expect, with plenty of flexibility to support the children attending.

Children arrive and have time to become familiar with the space. Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay if it helps their child feel comfortable. We encourage exploration the studio and settling in at their own pace.

Once everyone has arrived, we'll gather as a group to meet our fellow Art Club friends for the session. We'll take a brief tour of the studio, introduce the day's featured activity and creative stations, and enjoy a fun, creative icebreaker game to help everyone feel comfortable, connected, and ready to create!

Children will then begin the main art project. We encourage a process-focused approach, allowing children to work at their own pace and express their creativity freely. All children will take their completed artwork home at the end of the session.

After completing the main activity, children are invited to explore a range of open-ended creative stations. These may include light and shadow play, painting, clay, sensory experiences, drawing, construction, and other hands-on art invitations.

Parents and caregivers return for pick-up and are welcome to view and celebrate the children's creations before heading home!

We recommend comfortable clothes that can get a little messy.

Yes! Children will take home their main artwork from each session as well as any other creations they have made in other stations.

Just themselves! We provide all art materials and equipment. Additionally, you may bring a water bottle or a light, nut-free snack.

Group sizes are kept small to ensure children receive support and have plenty of space to create. There will be always be two facilitators per session with a valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification.

Process art focuses on creativity, exploration, and experimentation rather than aiming for a specific outcome. Every child's artwork is unique and we encourage creative freedom with each activity.

Oggie Art Club is a creative, child-led space where curiosity, play, and self-expression come first. Rather than focusing on perfect results, we encourage children to explore materials, experiment with ideas, and enjoy the creative process.
Led by a working artist with over 10 years of experience across a range of art forms, children are introduced to a variety of creative techniques, materials, and ways of making.
